About the Class

Leveraging over a decade of Legato training experience for more than 2,500 students worldwide, Cambridge Computer has developed a 5-day lab-based class. This class is the result of student feedback covering the topics they find most critical to their NetWorker environments and the way students have said they learn best (hands-on). Thus the content of our class is tailored to meet the real-world needs of administrators responsible for planning and deploying NetWorker, and is presented in a hands-on way wherever possible.

Our 5-day intensive NetWorker Lab Class is an alternative or supplement to EMC’s 7-days of NetWorker Administration and Advanced Administration classroom courses, which are largely lecture-driven classes. Our class is a practical, hands-on experience on the design and implementation of NetWorker. Our chalk talk discussions include topics such as incorporating LAN-Free Backup, Backup-to-Disk and Virtual Tape Libraries in your system, scheduling and policy best practices, and strategies for cloning offsite copies of data.

Our field-experienced instructors work alongside students and address selected specifics of individual environments. We also boast a state-of-the-art training center, which is equipped with a Storage Area Network (SAN), a Virtual Tape Library (VTL) and individual workstations.
